Filming and editing
The expensive part of video is not the camera, it is the day. So the day is planned to produce more than one thing: a hero film for the site, and the vertical cuts, the testimonial pulls and the ad variants that come out of the same footage for the rest of the year.
What it involves
How the work is actually done
Planned to be re-cut
Before a camera comes out we agree what the footage has to become — one film, or one film and twenty social cuts. That decision changes how the day is shot: coverage, framing headroom for a 9:16 crop, and the interview questions that produce usable ten-second answers rather than only usable ninety-second ones.
Filming
Interview and talking-head setups, product and process footage, location work, and the cutaways an edit actually needs. Lit properly and recorded with a real microphone, which is the difference nobody can name but everybody notices.
Editing and finishing
Assembly, grade, sound balance, captions, titles and motion graphics. Captions are burned in for the platforms that need them and supplied as a sidecar file for the ones that do not, because most of the audience is watching with the sound off.
Delivered per platform
The same source becomes 16:9 for YouTube and your site, 9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, and 1:1 for feed placements — reframed rather than letterboxed, so nothing important sits outside the crop.
