Video
You don’t need a film crew to make great video
Most businesses put video off because they picture a camera crew, a location and a five-figure invoice. There’s a far better route. Your videos are built from a mix of licensed footage, AI-generated shots and — when it genuinely earns its place — filming with real people. The result looks like your brand and fits the budget you actually have.
The problem
Why most businesses never get round to video
You already know video works — you’ve watched competitors use it. But every time you look into it, the answer comes back the same: a crew, a day to clear in everyone’s diary, and a quote that makes you close the tab. So it goes on the list for next quarter. And next quarter, it goes on the list again.
Filming is only one way to make a video, and it’s the most expensive one. Most of what your business needs — explaining a service, showing a product, running an advert, keeping a social feed fed — can be made beautifully without a camera ever leaving the bag. When filming genuinely is the right call, you’ll be told so. Most of the time, it isn’t.
What you get
Three ways to make your video — mixed to fit your budget
- 01
Licensed footage — fast, affordable, better than you’d expect
Professionally shot footage from the world’s largest libraries, chosen with care and colour-graded to your palette so it never looks borrowed. It’s the quickest route to a finished video and the right answer for most explainers, adverts and social content.
- 02
AI-generated footage — shots nobody has ever filmed
Scenes that don’t exist, can’t be filmed, or would cost a fortune to stage — generated to your brief, in your brand’s look. No crew, no location, no travel days. It’s now good enough for a great deal of commercial work, and it improves every month.
- 03
Filming with real people — the premium option
Nothing beats your actual team, your actual premises, or a customer saying what they think in their own words. It costs more and takes longer — a crew, a schedule, a day out of everyone’s diary — so it’s only recommended when it will earn that back. When it does, the day is planned to produce a year of content rather than a single film.
Most projects use all three. A video might open on a filmed shot of your team, carry the middle on licensed footage, and use a generated shot for the one thing nobody could realistically film. You choose the balance — and you’ll get an honest account of what each route adds in both time and cost before you commit to anything.
What you get
What turns footage into a video that sells
Edited to a professional finish
Sharp cuts, colour grading, a proper sound mix, titles and motion graphics. The finish is what separates a video that builds confidence from one that quietly costs you it.
Captions as standard
Most social video is watched on mute, so yours is captioned by default — not as an extra.
Ready for every platform
Widescreen for your website and YouTube, vertical for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, square for feeds — reframed shot by shot, so nothing important gets cropped away.
A voice for it
Professional voiceover recorded for you, or a generated voice where the budget is tight. You’ll always be told which you’re getting, and you’ll hear it before it’s locked.
Music that’s yours
Because music is composed in-house, your video can have an original score licensed to you outright instead of a stock track shared with thousands of other brands.

How we use AI
Where AI helps — and where it doesn’t
AI has changed what’s affordable in video, and pretending otherwise would cost you money. It’s used wherever it makes your video better, faster or cheaper without anyone being able to tell.
Shots that would otherwise be impossible
Locations you can’t travel to, scenes that would need a build, concepts that only exist as an idea. Generated to match your grade and style.
Dozens of ad versions, not dozens of edits
Serious ad testing needs many variants, and hand-cutting each one is exactly what stops most businesses testing at all. One set of footage becomes a full testing set of hooks, openings and endings.
One consistent look across everything
Footage from different sources, days and rooms matched into a single seamless campaign — work that used to take a colourist a week.
Every word searchable
Every clip transcribed and indexed, so finding the right ten seconds takes moments instead of hours. That saving goes into the finish.
And where it does notWhat AI still can’t do is be your team. Faces in close-up, hands using your product, a customer’s genuine reaction — these are where generated footage still gives itself away, and where a real camera is worth every penny. You’ll never be handed a generated shot passed off as real, and you approve every frame before it goes in.
How it works
How your video gets made
- 01
Agree what it’s for
The goal, the audience and where it will run — because a video for a sales page and a video for a feed are not the same video.
- 02
Script and storyboard
You approve the plan, shot by shot, before anything is made. Changes cost nothing at this stage and a fortune later.
- 03
Source the footage
Licensed, generated, filmed, or the mix you chose — with the cost of each option already agreed.
- 04
Edit and finish
Grade, sound mix, captions, titles and music, with drafts you can comment on rather than a finished file sprung on you.
- 05
Deliver everywhere
Every format you need, plus the files, so nothing is stuck with us.

FAQs
Frequently asked questions
- Won’t AI-generated video look fake?
- Some of it does, which is exactly why it isn’t used everywhere. It holds up beautifully for landscapes, objects, abstract scenes and stylised work, and it still struggles with faces in close-up. You see and approve every shot before it goes into your video, so nothing lands in front of your customers that you haven’t signed off.
- Isn’t stock footage obvious?
- It’s obvious when it’s dropped in untouched. Graded to your colours, cut to your pace and mixed with material that’s genuinely yours, it stops looking borrowed. The clips that give the game away are the ones nobody bothered to work on.
- When is filming actually worth paying for?
- When the credibility comes from it being real — your team, your premises, your product in someone’s hands, a customer’s own words. If a shot’s only job is to illustrate an idea, filming it rarely repays what it costs.
- How much does filming add?
- It’s the single biggest variable in any video budget, so you’ll get the figure in writing before you decide — along with a version of the plan without it, so you can compare like for like and choose.
- Can you use footage we already have?
- Yes, and it’s often the cheapest route to a good video. Old shoots, phone footage, event recordings and product clips can all be graded, cut and mixed with new material.
- How long does it take?
- A video built from licensed and generated footage can be finished in days. Add filming and you’re adding scheduling, travel and a day on location — usually a few weeks from first conversation to final file. You’ll get the timeline in your written proposal.
